The Pura Vida Cave House with Jacuzzi in Santorini
Imerovigli is known mostly for it’s landascape, described as “The Aegean Balcony”, situated on the central part of the Caldera, offering the best views on the island.
The area is full of small stores and restaurants during the main season (April to November) and is more peaceful in the low season (December – March).
A 20 minute drive or 2 hours of trekking to the west can take you to the beautiful village of Oia where people gather in the evening to watch the sunset, dine or walk through the multitude of stores.
A 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk to the East will take you to Fira, the place to be for bars, clubs, action, and shopping, as well as different choices of food ranging from the most sophisticated chefs to the more traditional taverns.
Half way between Imerovigli and Fira you will go through Firostefani, where you will find more choices of restaurants and local stores, an a beautiful view of the Caldera o the path down.
The Airport as well as the black beaches of Santorini are a 20-30 minute drive to the other side of the island, and the port is about 20 minutes away.
